Graphic Designer


To conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through multiple brand touch points (website, email, social media, events, marketing collateral, internal marketing etc.), and effectively communicate the strategic intent for each tactic. This strategic, conceptual thinker will have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, digital, branding and typography.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion and delivery.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the Marketing team on all creative projects.
  • Personally work on graphic development. Follow the company’s brand identity standards and guidelines.
  • Interact with Copywriter to develop creative concepts and executions.
  • Work closely with Ecommerce Design Manager to keep all projects on track.
  • Presents design work at various stages to Ecommerce Design Manager for review and final approval.
  • Ability to bring intuitive design ideas to the creative team and work collaboratively. li>
  • Supports the Marketing, Retail, Corporate, Wholesale and E-commerce teams in creating sales materials.


  • Job Requirements:

  • Possess solid understanding of consumer behaviors and market dynamics of the retail industry in an omni- channel world.
  • Possess solid presentation, listening and communication skills. Able to work quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects.
  • Solution and detail oriented, hard worker who is passionate about visual design and marketing.
  • Proactive, with the ability to work well independently and as a team.
  • Professional, positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to observe and learn.
  • Takes direction well and be able to excel in a highly collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure all work consistently meets established brand standards and guidelines.

  • Education/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, advertising or related discipline.
  • Omni-channel retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Mastered composition techniques (multiple elements and interactive pieces) in producing polished final pieces.
  • Mac platform, expert in Adobe Creative Suite with experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Dreamweaver and Flash beneficial, but not required.
  • Demonstrated complete understanding of:
  • -Color theory and color relationships.
  • -Typography
  • -Perspective and space relationships.
  • -Page composition and grid structures.
  • -Web page and e-blast layout design and production.
  • –Have a strong portfolio ready for review upon request.

    Photographer


    Job Description


    Talented individual needed to take basic shots of our products including silhouette, stack, overhead, and detail shots. Will be responsible for setting up all aspects of the shot, including ordering the products, steaming and ironing, placement, and lighting according to our style guide and art direction. Must be detail-oriented and able to keep all digital files organized for easy retrieval. Will assist with keeping the studio clean and neat. Work experience with DSLR, Mamiya D645, Lightroom, Capture One, Photoshop on a Mac platform shooting tethered is required. Must be able to work independently and have an eye for detail. Prior experience with soft goods and textiles is desired.


    This position is located in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the beautiful Berkshire Hills.

    Photo Studio Assistant


    Organized person needed to assist the Visual Merchandiser in our photo studio. This person will be ordering needed product from the warehouse, meticulously steaming and ironing the textiles, making beds, moving furniture for different photos, organizing the props and keeping the studio neat and organized.

    Electrician

    Licensed electrician needed for maintenance and facility management dept. This is a multi-faceted position that will not only include electrical work but also carpentry, basic plumbing, landscape & snow removal, warehouse support and other projects as needed. Work includes both maintaining the inside and outside of the facility. A valid, Massachusetts Electrical license is necessary for this position. This is a full time, year-round position with an excellent benefit package. Position is contingent on a favorable background check.

    Order Picking & Warehouse Shipping Associates

    Detail-oriented warehouse worker needed on first and second shift for a wholesale rug company. Duties will include picking stock to fill orders, packing orders for shipping, stocking shelves and unloading shipping containers.


    Qualifications:

  • Must be able to accurately read item codes, document inventory adjustments and complete paperwork or basic computer work as needed.
  • Must have a consistent work history with proven reliability.
  • Previous Shipping or warehouse experience is helpful, but will train the right person.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

  • First shift runs Mon-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
    Second shift runs Mon-Thurs, 2pm-12 midnight.

    Quality Control Inspector

    Detail-oriented person needed to perform final visual inspections of textile products including measuring, checking for color and material flaws. QC Inspectors will also fold, package, and label the final product. 1+ year of QC experience is desired. Basic computer skills are necessary to look up product specifications and print labels. Must be able to continuously lift boxes throughout the day weighing up to 50 lbs. and be able to stand all day.
