Why You’ll Love It
Each of these maple boards – handmade in the USA – is a piece you'll be gathering around for years. Offered individually, in your choice of three sizes, these substantial boards are fashioned to include built-in handle slots. Pile them high with a smorgasbord of soft and hard cheeses, charcuterie, pâté, olives, dried figs, grapes, crackers and fresh, crusty bread. Perfect for those who love to entertain, they can be hung in your kitchen or dining room to display their artful craftmanship when not in use. These keepsakes make a unique gift and will last for generations when properly cared for. Utilizing and celebrating wood salvaged from old and naturally fallen trees, each feast board is uniquely shaped and sized to highlight the natural beauty of the species from which it came. Individually handmade in the USA. Offered in three different sizes. Board width and shape can vary along its length, depending on size.

Your wooden Feast Board will occasionally need a shine. To keep your board looking beautiful and well conditioned we recommend using the Wood Preserve. To clean your board, we suggest using a kitchen towel with mild soap and water as needed; rinse and immediately towel dry, then allow to air dry thoroughly. Never allow board to sit or soak in water and never put in dishwasher. Occasionally, to freshen and sanitize, we suggest using fresh lemon juice to lightly coast board and sprinkle with salt using half of a lemon to scrub. Allow board to dry, then brush or scrape salt off with rubber spatula taking care not to scuff board. Wipe clean with damp towel and allow to air dry thoroughly. Occasionally you may wish to lightly sand in direction of wood grain using 400 grit sandpaper taking care to wipe away dust. Once you have cleaned or refreshed your board, to recondition we suggest you apply the Wood Preserve and wait for a few hours or overnight before hand polishing with a soft, lint free kitchen towel. Properly cared for feast boards should provide generations of service.
