Breathtakingly beautiful in its intricate simplicity, a precise balance of perfectly perforated spheres and the space between them. This low, large bowl is stunning empty and equally amazing displaying fresh fruit from your favorite farmer’s market. Individually crafted, hand-thrown with low fire earthenware, each piece evokes a unique character. After curing for several days its form is lovingly prepared, ready for Lawrence Mcrae who pierces and carves each distinct circle by hand, cleaning and smoothing as he goes, to create the perfect finish. Bisque fired, then glazed for depth and uniformity of color, and fired for the last time, your bowl will be individually signed by the artist.
