Cynthia Wick is one of Annie's artist crushes. A Los Angeles native now living in The Berkshires, her stunning, colorful paintings ooze luminous California color and light. Using an inventive mix of acrylics, oils and collage, she creates bold, lyrical mosaics that mirror the everyday landscapes she witnesses, and her emotional responses to them. Working loosely and intuitively she adds multiple layers of paint and collage, finding surprising combinations of color and shape. In this exciting collaboration, her work is digitally printed on our favorite slubby linen-like performance fabric resulting in decorative pillows that meld perfectly into rooms with a sophisticated mix of natural and modern elements. Backed with a co-ordinating softly heathered version of the same fabric, that is woven with sun, rain, pet and spill proof yarns to stand up to all the everyday elements of life.
