When exposed to the elements and UV radiation, teak will acquire a silver/gray patina over time. Hairline cracking, peeling and joint expansion is to be expected in all teak furniture.

Left unprotected, teak especially will weather and lighten in color. Dust regularly with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid ammonia-based cleaners or other chemicals.
