Warehouse Associates

We are currently hiring Warehouse Associates for our picking, packing, replenishment and receiving functions.

Job Description:

Must be able to:

  • Repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Stand for long periods of time as well as climb, kneel or squat as needed.
  • Receive and put away inbound product.
  • Meet accuracy requirements.
  • Identify process issues such as inventory control issues, replenishment/stocking errors, and present them to the Supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Successfully work independently and in a team environment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance standards of the position.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Warehouse equipment experience a plus, however will train as necessary

    Retail Associate

    Role Summary:

    Join a dynamic team of home textile enthusiasts, sharing Annie Selke’s fabulous area rugs, bedding, throws, pillows and more at our warehouse outlet store. Assist customers to find products, sharing product knowledge and making recommendations. Work with team members to maintain attractive displays and a clean welcoming store.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Introduce the Annie Selke Companies and our brands.
    • Determine customer needs, help them find product and understand best use and care.
    • Maintain beautiful orderly displays based on Annie’s vision for the products.
    • Collect customer contact information for marketing purposes.
    • Maintain accurate inventory and prices. Conduct inventory counts.
    • Process stock orders, labeling product correctly and placing in the appropriate section.
    • Retrieve product from returns departments, Archives, etc.
    • Clean the store as needed including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, windows, etc.

    Education/ Experience/ Skills:

    • 1 year of retail store work experience preferred
    • Ability to work weekends and holidays
    • Outgoing and committed to excellent customer service
    • Competent use of internet and email
    • Ability to lift up-to 50 pounds, more with another person
    • Flexibility for changing priorities
    • Appreciation for and ability to maintain orderliness
    • A “ready and willing” attitude
    • Willing to use cell phone only during breaks
    • Interest in and passion for home textiles and/or sewing experience a plus.

    Inventory Control Manager


    The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the inventory within the warehouse(s) as well as well as to train and manage a team of inventory control staff. He/ She is responsible for cycle counts, inventory and space planning, receiving, put away, replenishments, and corresponding metrics, and to ensure that all related company policies and procedures are followed. .

    Reports To:

    Director of Warehouse


    • Manage all activities related to inventory control including cycle counting, pick slots, relocate items, manage inventory adjustments, etc.
    • Ensure cycle counts are executed according to the audit requirements to prevent an annual Physical Inventory. Identify, implement and document solutions to minimize inventory discrepancies.
    • Coordinates the activities associated with product returns.
    • Responsible for keeping costs under control by minimizing shrinkage; measure and minimize theft incidents as well as reduce inventory that is destroyed, lost or counted incorrectly.
    • Purchase and manage all supplies required for the Warehouse.
    • Create and manage metrics to monitor and report inventory accuracy. Report and share metrics with external and internal departments to accomplish outstanding customer service to our customers.
    • Make recommendations for long-term solutions and continuous process improvements for all Equipment Operator and inventory control activities.
    • Supervise, motivate and coach direct reports. Set goals and touch base regularly to ensure they have the tools to perform accordingly.
    • Work with management to balance team and individual responsibilities and adjust staff accordingly to priorities within the warehouse.


    Additional Responsibilities

    • Follow and enforce all company policies and procedures for safety, including equipment safety, quality and sanitation with regard to personnel, maintenance and equipment.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.



    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred with 5 years of related experience in a fast paced, multichannel distribution environment.
    • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
    • Proven abilities/skills in analysis, process flow and systems experience is a must.
    • Must have excellent documentation skills.
    • At minimum, 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
    • Ability to set priorities.
    • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred) with knowledge of ERP and WMS systems preferred.
    • Knowledge of swing reach and order picker machines helpful
    • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion, stand several hours a day and climb ladders, bend, reach, kneel, twist, push and pull and perform repetitive motions. and can tolerate working at heights
    • Must be able to move large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment
