International Logistics Manager

Role Summary:

The International Logistics Manager handles technical details relating to international transportation, such as customs regulations and necessary documentation. This role works to efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within a specific budget or distribution strategy. Knowledge of national and international import/export legislation is required and the incumbent must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation. The incumbent should build relationships with Logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation. The person in this role must have strong documentation and organization skills, and be able to document and communicate effectively, with attention to detail, any changes to operating procedures or prioritization and to handle any problems that arise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all open purchase orders for readiness.
  • Schedule all container and AWB deliveries, including booking non-India shipments with freight forwarders.
  • Container departure planning.
  • Communicate delivery schedules to appropriate personnel throughout the organization.
  • Communicate any delays to appropriate personnel throughout the organization.
  • Tariff rate approvals.
  • Responsible for monitoring air budget.
  • Work with third-party freight forwards to ensure most cost-effective and timely means of transportation.
  • Work with vendors to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles to ensure safe and timely shipping of products.
  • Inform cost changes, shipment issues, and supply concerns to respective personnel and team in a timely manner.
  • Review customer orders to determine items to be stocked and shipped.

Position Duties and Objectives:

  • Build business solutions infrastructure that enables the business to plan and manage their supply network and lead-times.
  • Negotiate sea and air freight quotes with carriers.
  • Create and maintain detailed financial reporting on all import activities including order management, logistics and shipping
  • Ensure that logistics system is operated in accordance with local, state and federal customs laws.
  • Recruit, lead and train staff in inventory management and shipping processes.
  • Clear & consistent organizational accountability for inventory.

Education/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of logistics experience, which includes strong knowledge of distribution, and retail/wholesale buying background and sourcing
  • Managerial experience required
  • Ability to think objectively and quickly interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to use logic to solve problems
  • Able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners
  • Demonstrate excellent listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
  • Experience with or a strong ability to learn reporting/data warehousing tools (including SAP) preferred
  • Possess excellent organization and time management skills
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency and a high level of attention to detail
  • Must be organized, disciplined, and able to work under pressure

Digital Marketing Analytics Specialist

Role Summary:

The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for the successful execution and deployment of all digital marketing reports and web analytics for all Annie Selke retail and wholesale brands. This position is directly responsible for the successful delivery and deployment of reporting, the google analytics tool, A/B testing reporting tool, and various reporting needs based on ERP tool. This position will work closely with the IT, merchandising, content, and marketing departments to aid in the success of these programs. This position may come with direct marketing responsibilities, as the analyst gains insight. Analyst may become responsible for activation and execution of analysis in marketing platforms. This position will report directly to the Senior Digital Marketing, Analytics, and Optimization Manager.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Ability to translate data into action and push out meaningful insights
  • Web analytics reporting and weekly dashboards
  • Track and analyze performance in relation to clickstream, paths, transaction, product, marketing channels, and/or customer data using appropriate analytical methods to improve digital marketing return on investment and maximize budgets
  • Perform detailed analysis on customer data and segmentation

Email Marketing Specialist

Role Summary:

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the successful execution and deployment of the emails for all Annie Selke retail and wholesale brands. This position is directly responsible the successful delivery and deployment of emails and on site pop up messaging. This position will work closely with the IT, merchandising, and content departments to aid in the success of these programs. This position will report directly to the Digital Marketing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling, deployment, and monitoring of email marketing campaigns using our third-party email service provider (ESP).
  • Work with marketing teams to determine goals, target segments, campaign flow, and offers.
  • Determine benchmarks and metrics requirements for each campaign.
  • Develop timeline and project manage campaigns to ensure timely and error-free execution.
  • Understand, calculate, and track Customer Lifetime Value, while developing initiatives aimed at increasing it.
  • Develop testing strategies for template formats, subject lines and landing pages.
  • Aid in the development of automating data flow from databases to front-end campaign and publishing tools such as, integrating customer data to create dynamically generated email campaigns.
  • Work with multiple departments to implement email brand strategy and acquire sign-off to ensure proper focus and quality of each email campaign
  • Develop and implement new email projects/initiatives.
  • Maintain best practices for email hygiene, privacy and opt-in/opt-out standards.
  • Maintaining email lists, regularly updating wholesale lists and pulling lists from ecommerce platform.
  • Coordination of team QA. Ensure all elements of the email are proofed and correct: spelling, grammar, accuracy, links work, web content, and site functionality, unsubscribe and other best practice elements are included.
  • Analyze and report out on key metrics (deliverability, open rate, click through rate, bounce back, unsubscribe, sales, etc.). Ability to generate reports as needed.
  • Produce emails by resizing photos, laying out in InDesign, formatting emails in HTML and text, and writing subject lines.
  • Update subscriber forms.
  • Other digital marketing tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Business, Economics, Statistics
  • Knowledge of some marketing fundamentals and best practices, including design, tracking, deliverability, analytics, A/B or multivariate testing

SUMMARY:

To conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through multiple brand touch points (website, email, digital advertising, marketing collateral, etc.). This strategic thinker will have a wide range of design capabilities and experience, with a solid background in visual communications, branding, typography, digital marketing, and ecommerce. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
