Accounts Payable Associate

We are seeking an experienced, part time Accounting Associate. This position will generate checks/wires for payment for domestic and international vendors. Assist the Accounting Manager with reconciling general ledger accounts and producing month end financials.


This position will also assist with the responsibilities for the timely and accurate completion of our AP cycle including matching packing slips and reviewing all vendor invoices for accuracy, seeking approvals as needed, resolving any discrepancies and processing the invoices in our system along with initial vendor file set up including obtaining W9’s and Certificates of Insurance as well as general maintenance of files. This position will also share in the responsibilities of reconciling credit card statements, processing expense reports and verifying compliance of company policy, as well as cross training for support when needed with collection calls and other AR duties.


The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a high volume, fast paced environment with the ability to work independently on daily tasks. 2 + years of progressive experience in payables related processing and general ledger knowledge is required. An Associate's Degree in Accounting is preferred, but not required. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and accounting related programs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and vendors. Excellent organizational skills are needed and must possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task without compromising accuracy and timeliness of end products.

Order Picking & Warehouse Shipping Associates

Detail-oriented warehouse worker needed on first and second shift for a wholesale rug company. Duties will include picking stock to fill orders, packing orders for shipping, stocking shelves and unloading shipping containers.


Qualifications:

  • Must be able to accurately read item codes, document inventory adjustments and complete paperwork or basic computer work as needed.
  • Must have a consistent work history with proven reliability.
  • Previous Shipping or warehouse experience is helpful, but will train the right person.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

  • First shift runs Mon-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
    Second shift runs Mon-Thurs, 2pm-12 midnight.

    Responsibilities::

  • Ability to translate data into action and push out meaningful insights
  • Web analytics reporting and weekly dashboards
  • Track and analyze performance in relation to clickstream, paths, transaction, product, marketing channels, and/or customer data using appropriate analytical methods to improve digital marketing return on investment and maximize budgets
  • Perform detailed analysis on customer data and segmentation
  • Handling operational tasks for all web needs and management of digital marketing assets between internal departments and 3rd party vendors
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of reporting for various e-commerce initiatives including email, paid and organic search, affiliate marketing, social media, retargeting, catalog, partnerships and other

  • Experience/Requirements:

    Housekeeper

    Housekeepers needed for a high-end, 8 room Inn located in the heart of Lenox. Experience is required, previous Inn or Bed & Breakfast experience is highly desired. This individual will be cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms, common areas, kitchen and dining space as well as doing laundry tasks. Must be extremely meticulous with the thought that no detail is too small. The right candidate understands the need for a high-level of guest service as they would be a part of a team to make the guest’s experience excellent and memorable. Proven reliability is needed.     Sr. Print Designer


    Reports to: VP of Creative Services

    Overall Function: : To conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through printed materials, including retail and wholesale catalog, and effectively communicate the strategic intent for each tactic.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for graphic design, seeing all projects through from concept, design, production, completion and delivery.
  • Interact with the Creative Director and Copywriter to develop creative concepts and executions within print materials.
  • Work closely with Print Production Manager and VP or Creative Services to keep all projects on track and ensure brand identity continuity.
  • Follow the company’s brand identity standards and guidelines.
  • Presents design work at various stages for review and approval.
  • Ability to bring intuitive design ideas to the creative team and work collaboratively.
  • Responsible for leading and managing the work flow and responsibilities of the Jr. Print Graphic Designer(s).

  • JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possess solid understanding of consumer behaviors and market dynamics of the retail industry in an omni- channel world.

  • Mastered composition techniques (multiple elements and interactive pieces) in producing polished final pieces.
  • Mac platform, expert in Adobe Creative Suite with experience in Microsoft Office Suite. Dreamweaver and Flash beneficial, but not required.
  • Demonstrated complete understanding of:
    • Color theory and color relationships.
    • Typography
    • Perspective and space relationships.
    • Page composition and grid structures.
    • Catalog page layout design and production.
