VP Planning and Purchasing

Role Summary:

The VP Planning and role is significant to the management of the company’s largest capital investment. This leader is required for all product category management needs involving development of a bottoms up/ tops down sales analysis for the annual and season plan. Development of a sales, margin, markdown and inventory matrix and tools aligning to the Company’s annual plans. This role will work directly with Sales, Merchandising and Allocation partners to ensure that all financial KPI’s are aligned and stakeholder feedback is integrated into a formal OTB and Forecasting model. Collaboration with partners is essential to ensure execution to plans. The business is investing in people and tools in better managing insights, trends, budgets, OTB analysis and business unit performance and turn ratios. This role needs to bring a formalized productivity process to OTB with all seasonal plans including a methodology of non-carry forward and new seasonal OTB plans while reducing sku levels overall.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage the best inventory forecasting tools for the business
  • Identify a clear OTB seasonal and annual model by product category & brand
  • Develop a sales & planning model for FYE 2020 plan
  • Identify critical areas of focus and strategy of action
  • Determine forward targeted inventory level goals and metrics
  • Integrate tools and thinking across departments of ownership in managing to target metrics with Sr. Management teams
  • Establish cross-functional alignment on targets and process
  • Develop monthly Dashboard with KPI’s for leadership team and Board

Planning/Forecasting:

  • Collaborates with sales and finance to develop strategic annual sales plan at season, category, sub category, channel, country and customer level (sales, inventory and margin).
  • Work with sales in development, documentation and implementation plan.
  • Lead teams in weekly management of sales plans vs. current forecast tracking-insure inventory positioned to support all levels of plan and forecast.
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and manage channel/segment strategies.

Merchandising:

  • Work with the merchandising team to create an initial assortment plan, design development “blue print” and ultimate line build to insure product SKU and category supports channel, segment and sales goals.
  • Partner with design to build seasonal line/assortment plans and product flow based on category and seasonal needs.

Inventory Management:

  • Plan and manage inventory- insure ideal inventory productivity to maximize sales opportunity while limiting exposure and risk, via monthly OTB tool.
  • Mange production flow to insure inventory levels support sales forecast, while still achieving company financial goals.
  • Works with planning/forecast/operations team on weekly review of specific inventory needs through available to sell analysis.

Production:

Manages production team responsible for:

  • Factory forecasts with focus on category style and material.
  • Production price negotiation in collaboration with corporate pricing and margin objectives. Define factory models and base structure in best understanding areas of efficiencies in flow, materials, lead times and pricing.
  • Purchase administration (style and PO set up and maintenance).
  • Communication with Agents and Factories as needed to insure all workflow objectives are completed in a time manner.
  • Develop seasonal and annual plans factory matrix align to Company’s GM and sales plan, identify of areas for improvement.

Strategic Projects/Reporting:

Works with senior management in high level reporting and special projects to include:

  • Board/Investor reporting
  • Business analysis/trend overviews
  • Monthly/Quarterly dashboard variances to plan and strategies

Education/ Experience/ Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of Softline planning experience, which includes strong knowledge of distribution, and retail/wholesale buying background and sourcing
  • Managerial experience required
  • Ability to think objectively and quickly interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
  • Ability to use logic to solve problems
  • Able to build strong relationships with a diverse group of business partners

International Logistics Manager

Role Summary:

The International Logistics Manager handles technical details relating to international transportation, such as customs regulations and necessary documentation. This role works to efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services and inventory within a specific budget or distribution strategy. Knowledge of national and international import/export legislation is required and the incumbent must be able to effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international freight transportation. The incumbent should build relationships with Logistics mediators and work closely with package engineers to ensure the protection of freight in transportation. The person in this role must have strong documentation and organization skills, and be able to document and communicate effectively, with attention to detail, any changes to operating procedures or prioritization and to handle any problems that arise.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor all open purchase orders for readiness.
  • Schedule all container and AWB deliveries, including booking non-India shipments with freight forwarders.
  • Container departure planning.
  • Communicate delivery schedules to appropriate personnel throughout the organization.

Role Summary:

The Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for the successful execution and deployment of all digital marketing reports and web analytics for all Annie Selke retail and wholesale brands. This position is directly responsible for the successful delivery and deployment of reporting, the google analytics tool, A/B testing reporting tool, and various reporting needs based on ERP tool. SUMMARY:

To conceptualize, design and execute creative solutions that consistently and clearly communicate the company's brand identity, positioning and messaging through multiple brand touch points (website, email, digital advertising, marketing collateral, etc.). Human Resources Assistant

Role Summary:

Overall administrative support for the Human Resource functions for the Annie Selke Companies including the opportunity to participate in a wide scope of HR activities, including payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, compliance management and culture development in a growth-stage company.

Customer Service Representative

Overall Function:

Provide support to customers including advising on product, order entry, order tracking and resolution of customer problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly
  • Provide a high level of service to our customers by assisting them with any general questions, product questions and coordination, checking available inventory, order tracking, etc. Additional written and verbal correspondence as needed.
