woven viscose

FEATURES & BENEFITS: Luxuriously silky and soft underfoot.

WHERE TO USE: Best suited for low-traffic, gently used rooms only. Not suitable for homes with children or pets.

HOW IT'S MADE: Viscose yarns make up the warp and weft of these hand-woven rugs, which are made on a horizontal loom. Artisans loop each section of yarn while on the loom to create the plush pile, which is then sheared to achieve the distressed look. Cotton backing is then applied to the pile to help secure the yarns for durability.

CARE:
•  Regular vacuuming and the occasional gentle shake will keep these rugs looking their best.
•  Avoid exposure to moisture of any kind, as this may cause permanent staining.
•  Best suited for low-traffic, gently used rooms only.
•  Not suitable for homes with children or pets.
•  For bigger messes, we recommend professional cleaning only.

FEATURES & BENEFITS: The enhanced texture of viscose provides a luxury look in your space.

WHERE TO USE: Low-traffic, gently used rooms only. Not suitable for homes with children or pets.

HOW IT'S MADE: These rugs are woven on vertical handlooms by interlacing the warp, running length-wise and weft, running width-wise. Warp threads are raised and lowered manually during weave to create the high/low pile. Once the rug is woven, the higher pile is sheared to level zero, this is when the weft becomes visible and an overall distressed look is revealed.
